A little bit about us

I am a working mom looking for an extension of the family. I am a full time manager but would only need help part time. I have the sweetest 3 month old calm baby girl. She loves to try standing on her feet, loves to mimic sounds you make and smile. She has a really relaxed chill personality doesn’t get fussy unless it’s time to eat or time to nap.

I am looking for someone who is available to work a max of 25 hrs a week never on the weekends. Your hours would be morning hours from 8am-4pm on Monday, Tuesday,Wednesday. Your duties would be to make sure she eats, naps and gets her tummy time in and achieve milestones.

My name is Carin, I have 3 amazing kids. They are loving and caring. They love to watch TV and play with toys. I’m looking for an occasional nanny. We recently moved here to Texas and mom & dad would like to spend date nights without having little bundles jumping everywhere at dinner. I’m looking for someone be able to come to my home and watch them here. Someone reliable and that has their own transportation.

Monday through Thursday
1 2 - 5 pm

My baby girl is 4 months and easy going.
My one yr old loves to walk around, since he's recently learned how.
My 5 yr old will need to be picked up from his school, which is up the street. He's a big help with the little ones if need be. He's into riding his hoverboard and scooter.

Nanny must be willing to video chat briefly once all kids are back home.

I normally don't work late, so I'll be there at 5 pm or before.

What is an Infant Nanny in Irving, TX

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Irving, TX? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
