A little bit about us

I am a married mom of 2 beautiful girls. My 3 year old is a type 1 diabetic, and we have a 1.5 month old. My husband is a disabled vet and cares for the kids while I work from home as a property management CSC for military housing. I am home all the time as well as my husband, however we are looking for a part time sitter to help with care for our 3 year old daughter. You will not have to assist with diabetic care as my husband will do this. We are looking for help with playing with our toddler and engaging in educational activities as well as some light house keeping. Including picking up toys and washing dishes. Our newborn will need care as well when my husband is tending to our 3 year old. She will need diaper changes and to be held as she is a velcro baby and seeks comfort 24/7. We are looking for someone part time, from the hours of 3pm-7pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Our 3 year old loves to play and we do not want her on screen time for hours of the day. Her babysitter must enjoy our daughters love for imaginative play and be engaging in conversation.

I need someone to watch both children during the summer from 630am-745pm 7-8 days a month. During school I need someone to drop off and pick up my daughter 2-3 days a week. I need someone who is patient and kind and will treat my children like they are their own. My daughter is 5, my son is 1. I will try to make things as easy for you as I can and have everything organized. [phone number hidden] text me if you’re interested. Me and my husband will need to meet you. How to Find an Infant Care Job in Jasper, TX

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Jasper, TX

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Jasper, TX? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
