A little bit about us

We are looking for a part time nanny for our family. (M, W, Fri and occasional date nights/ school breaks). My husband and I both work from home. We own a construction company and I am a SAHM. I need someone to come and help get our big kids off to school at 6- 6:45 AM and then assist with our 5 month old baby girl from 7-11 or longer some days depending on our schedule. Our 5 month old was born early and takes lots of naps so light cleaning in between her nap schedule would be appreciated! We have a housekeeper that comes 1-2 times a week as well so work load would not be too much to handle. This nanny job would be $20 an hour when it is just our 5 month old and $26 when all kids are home. Over the summer, I am looking for someone who can tag along to pools, activities etc, and I will pay them do so. We are also looking for someone who can help out for date nights and family vacations . We want to hire someone that is interested in becoming a part of our family and would be in it for the long haul! If you think you would be a match for our family, please reach out to me.

We have baby #2 on the way and there is no way we can afford to put her in daycare full time. My husband and I both need to work and are becoming desperate. My hours range from 5:45-4 at the latest at work M-F. Sometimes I can be home by 3 and go in as late as 7. I’m hoping to find a sweet, caring and educational nanny to watch them at the house.

A little bit about us

Hi! I'm currently a SAHM with an 18 month old at home, and second on the way (due in December).
When my husband returns to work after paternity leave, we're looking for a part-time nanny to come over and assist with the children, mainly to provide me time to accomplish other tasks. Examples include:
- attending to the children so I can go to physical therapy appointments
- attending to the children so 1-2 times a week, I can go to our church and assist with serving
- attending to the children while I'm at home.....allowing me the ability to do housework, pump, etc.
We are currently considering 2-3 days a week, 4-6 hours a day. Days of the week and hours are negotiable.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Leander, TX

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Leander, TX

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Leander, TX? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
