A little bit about us

Hello,

My name is Corey McClain, and I am the owner/operator of a growing automotive group based in East Texas. I am reaching out because I am looking to hire a high-level, professional nanny for a live-in or full-time role, and I would like your assistance in sourcing and placing the right candidate as quickly as possible.

This is an important role within my household, and I am looking for someone who is more than a traditional babysitter. I need a dependable, structured, and proactive individual who can help create consistency, stability, and a positive environment for my children.

Position Overview:

Location: East Texas (Longview)
Children: Two young children (ages 1 and 3)
Schedule: Full-time (with potential for live-in arrangement)
Start Date: As soon as possible

What I’m Looking For:

Experienced nanny (3+ years preferred)
Strong sense of structure, routine, and organization
High energy and proactive mindset
Excellent communication and professionalism
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced household
Long-term fit preferred (not short-term placement)

Additional Details:

Competitive compensation (above market for the right candidate)
Performance-based bonuses and long-term incentives available
Housing can be provided for a live-in arrangement
Looking for someone who takes pride in their role and wants to be part of a stable, long-term environment

I am prepared to move quickly for the right candidate and would appreciate your guidance on available candidates, timelines, and your placement process.

Please let me know the next steps and what information you need from me to begin.

Thank you, and I look forward to working together.

Best regards,

Corey McClain

Hello my SONshine name is Amyl!

He is 14 months old & full of energy lol. He has a pretty solid schedule, but with a few hiccups every now & then! Diaper changes, playtime, walks, naps & pre prepped meals & snacks would be your responsibility during time with him. We would like for the care to be at our home. We are willing to pick up and drop off our Nanny if needed.

This is a HUGE transition for our family being that Amyl is our first child & we were blessed to be with him his first 6 months of life, but we recently received offers at jobs. We are looking for someone who is very experienced, passionate, loving, patient, & knowledgeable about infants!

Our goal is to schedule a sip & chat to just briefly get to know each other & see if becoming his Nanny would be a great fit!

Please don’t hesitate to give me a call or send me a text message if interested at [phone number hidden]

A little bit about us

Luka is a smiley and curious 8 month old little bundle of joy! His big smile lights up any room & every heart. He loves TONS of interaction and practicing his standing/crawling. I work from home, but there is no way I can give him the attention he needs/deserves and work productively. I have many mommy super powers but unfortunately that’s not one of them! Haha I will need someone who can come to the house about 8am-3:30pm M,T,W & F (Thursday I work evenings so I can spend time with him during the day). He is on formula and jarred food..so no cooking needed but he LOVES to eat so prepare to do a LOT of feedings! I would love someone who could get him on a more set schedule with feedings/naps because as of now it’s pretty sporadic and we just let him eat/sleep when he seems like he’s ready. Reliability is CRUCIAL. Someone who can be here as scheduled daily is extremely important as my job expects me daily..and a last minute cancellation means I have to miss work. Luka has never met a stranger so as long as he is loved and played with, he will be a happy camper! He is on the move, so he does need full time and undivided attention as all babies do! I look forward to meeting anyone who thinks they’d be a great fit!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Longview, TX

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Longview, TX

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Longview, TX? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
