Hello,

We are looking for a nanny for our 5-month-old baby. Hours are 7:45-5:00 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (maybe occasional date night and Wednesdays if you're interested in additional hours). I work from home so I will be here with you all day as well.
Our ideal candidate would be very dependable, honest, loves kids/babies, and a non smoker. We also have a large loving puppy, so candidate must be ok with pets.
We are located in Magnolia and would love to set up a time to meet anyone who is interested in the position.
*pay is DOE and will be discussed during interview

A little bit about us

Hi there! We are Megan & Chris -We are so excited to start this journey together & are looking for a nanny to help us along the way.

Our daughter is 4 months old now & growing like crazy!

I am an HR Director for an Oil & Gas company while Chris works nights for the railroad. We are looking to hire someone to get started in a routine. Ideally this person will work 3 days a week as I am able to work from home 2 days. I would really like to find in home care rather than taking her to daycare. I would expect this person to keep on schedule with naps and feedings as well play time during wake windows :)

A little bit about us

My kids are 2 and 9 months. They are fun and have lots of energy. They need someone who will engage with them and play with them actively throughout the time here; reading to them and contributing to their growth and development. We have a dedicated large playroom making caring for them easier as well as acreage so the kids can go outside and run around and play. We have a pool for summer fun and almost all of the time I will be at home so I would be here to help if necessary unless I have an appointment or an errand to get done. This is a job for someone who wants to laugh and be silly and just enjoy my sweet and smart little babies.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Magnolia, TX

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Magnolia, TX

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Magnolia, TX? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
