A little bit about us

I primarily work in North Dallas from my office M-F. I am looking for help on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 6:00AM-6:00PM. Kids are great and easy. My six year old Ani takes directions extremely well and is currently in kindergarten. My 4 year old Dean, who is in Early special Education Pre-K, is a high functioning autistic who is easy to keep entertained but does require a little more attention and patience. My youngest is 14mo and will require around the clock care. I am now a single parent with the world on my shoulders and I’m looking for help. I have no pets other than aquariums.

A little bit about us

Hi we are a family of 4! Our two boys are named Braxton (2) and Brennon (9mo.). They are very jubilant and full of life. I work two jobs remotely and my fiancé is a middle school teacher. We work 8-4pm. They don’t require too much maintenance; they have everything they could ask for or need at the house. They just need a lot of attention and I am often in meetings or handling other work-related tasks. My fiancé would be getting home at roughly 4:30pm each day.

A little bit about us

I have a baby girl, Sloane (born Aug. 16, 2022), that I need a part-time nanny for. No additional housework is requested, but we would like someone who is willing to take her and our dog (30 lb mutt terrier who is the most harmless dog in the world) on one daily walk in our neighborhood. You can watch her in our home. I can be flexible on the schedule, but 2 consecutive days are needed. So either Mon/Tues or Thurs/Fri. You will need to arrive around 7 am when my husband leaves for work and stay until he gets home at 5:30 pm (4:30 pm on Fridays).

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Midlothian, TX

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Midlothian, TX

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Midlothian, TX? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
