A little bit about us

Hello! My name is Johanna. I have a 1-year-old. I work 3 nights a week and my husband works 5 days a week. We both have random schedules, so there are no set days. But I can work my shifts around your availability. On the days that I work, I’d need help the whole day so that I can sleep for night shift. My husband would relieve you when he gets home from work. The earliest we would need help would be around 8:00 am and the latest we would need help until would be about 10:00 pm, but most shifts would be from about 10 am to about 8:30 pm.

A little bit about us

Hi! Were Russell and Lindsey and We have a 5 and a half month old named violet joy and she truly lives up to the name! She loves people and is a pretty amazing. We're open hour wise, russell works a rotating schedule of 4 days on 4 days off. And, beginning March 20th will be working 7 days on one day off until the end of may. Lindsey is an artist working out of the home and would be working in her studio during visits. We'd love help once or twice, sometimes more often depending. Lindsey manages a lively art career that has fluctuating scheduled. We have been called pretty "granola" and do elimination communication, cloth diapering with the grovia system, we have a floor bed and have primarily breast fed up until this point. We would love some minimal help with house chores like laundry or dishes but mainly looking for someone who's reliable, safe, and gentle with the most precious person in our life.

A little bit about us

I will be having a newborn the end of October and needing a nanny to help out while I work from home! I also have a 3.5yr old daughter who will be home while I work. Days and hours may vary due to my husbands schedule not being set. Some days he is off no later than 3:30 and some days not until 10pm. I work from home and start at 11:30am with a break from 3:30-6pm so during my break you would be off and able to do as you please with the potential of having to come back if my husband is not home yet. I work Monday, Tuesday, Friday,Saturday,Sunday, with my off days being Wednesday and Thursday’s. My husbands days off vary. Responsibilities would include caring for newborn ( diaper changes, feedings, entertainment) and for my toddler all I ask is for entertainment. I do have a dog she is very sweet and wouldn’t be a bother. I would like someone with experience with newborns, cpr certified, and can pass a background check.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in San Marcos, TX

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in San Marcos, TX

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in San Marcos, TX? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
