Hello I am a first time mommy looking for someone to care for my 2 month old baby girl and my aunts 8 month old baby girl. She will be bringing her daughter to my home to be cared for. The schedule will be Monday-Friday 6am-5pm, all national holidays are given and paid.
I am looking for someone who has experience and loves babies, also CPR and First Aid Certified. Someone who is friendly, likes to do arts and crafts and doesn't mind going on short walks outside. We speak English but I would love for our kids to learn another language as well.
Thank you so much in advance!!

A little bit about us

I am a new mom, whom got an opportunity to stay at home and work with my ongoing employer. Since I am starting a new role which requires my whole attention for a few hours a day I am needing assistance with my 3 month old baby Bek. I will be there the whole time since I do have separation anxiety; I do not want to leave my baby’s side but at the same time I need someone who can attend to his needs while I get work done. He does have a fractured skull, therefore he needs to be handled with extra care and love! It’s simple really, if he cries, carry him, feed him, change him, put him to nap, and just talk to him (he loves it) in Spanish, preferred. You are welcomed to bring your own child! I need this assistance from Monday - Thursday 10am - 3pm. He may have Doctor appointments to which I would need you to come on over maybe an hour or two later, I will let you know in advanced. Thank you I look forward to meeting the right person for my cutie! Also needs to be comfortable with pets I have a cat!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Webster, TX

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Webster, TX

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Webster, TX? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
