A little bit about us

Hi! I’m a 20 year old mother who just started a new job at st Elizabeth hospital in Edgewood. I’m looking for a sitter for my 3 amazingly good kids at my home in cold spring. I have a 5 month old who is extremely calm, a 2 year old with developmental delays but is otherwise a normal energetic little boy, and a very smart 6 year old step daughter who will just need care for the 30-ish minutes she would be home from school but I’d be on my way home from work. I’d ideally need someone who could come to my home around noon and watch the 5 month old and 2 year old until 4. My step daughter gets off the bus at 3:30 and would need to be met at the bus stop to walk home. I do have a double stroller for the baby and toddler though. I do have 2 dogs, 1 small/medium and 1 medium dog. They are both very friendly and the medium dog is very calm, the small/medium dog is still young so she does get a little energetic when excited but she does have a cage. I’m fully accepting of special circumstance (ex: needing to bring your own kid with you) as long as I know ahead of time. With the small number of hours 1 meal max would need prepared (peanut butter sandwich for my son and a bottle for my daughter) and one diaper change at least. If more hours are needed I’m sure we can work something out and pay is negotiable.

What is an Infant Nanny in COLD SPRGS HI, KY

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in COLD SPRGS HI, KY? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
