Looking for a nanny who can watch my two kids here at the house when I need to work outside of house. I have four children but the other two would be in school, which is why the job description only shows two children :) I own an interior design business which is mostly remote, but need someone when I have to meet a client or be on-site for meetings. I look forward to meeting you! It will likely be one to two days a week, flexible schedule.

A little bit about us

We are the Sutley Family, and we're delighted to announce that we're searching for a reliable, compassionate, and experienced nanny to help us take care of our newborn son, Wyatt. This position requires someone who has a deep love for children and understands the unique challenges and rewards of working with infants.

The primary responsibility for this role is ensuring the well-being of Wyatt, providing a safe, caring, nurturing and stimulating environment in which he can thrive and develop. The potential nanny should excel in engaging and nurturing newborns and be able to support Wyatt in achieving his early life milestones.

As of now, our needs are for a part-time nanny who can provide care and assistance from Monday to Wednesday each week, totaling 24 hours. This is an immediate position as my wife is set to return to work soon. We need your help and would like you to start ASAP if you are a suitable fit for our family.

You'll be responsible for all things baby-related including feeding, diaper changes, putting Wyatt down for naps, and comforting him when he's unsettled.
You might occasionally be required to help with baby-related household chores, such as cleaning Wyatt's room.
You should be prompt and dependable, always arriving on time and providing the loving care Wyatt needs.
The right candidate needs to have extensive experience working with newborns, and be able to showcase this during the interview process.
Being First Aid and CPR certified is a plus, but if not, you should be willing to undergo training.
The pay for this position is $20.00/hr. We're looking forward to finding the right fit for our family, and can't wait to welcome you in taking care of our little Wyatt.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Easton, MD

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Easton, MD

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Easton, MD? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
