A little bit about us

I am looking for in home care for newborn, who will be a 3 month old starting in June 2022. Hours have some flexibility. I need in home assistance for home and child care on days I work from home and for days I have to go into the office for work. I have to return to full-time work hours by the July, and am in need to childcare. Job will be through October/November timeframe depending on the daycare spot I am waiting for.
I am hoping to hire someone who is dependable, good with infants, and who we can welcome into our home as a friend of the family. I have an older son, 7yo, who would only occasionally need to be watched as well when his daycare is closed or I am unavailable. I also have a 12 yo dog and 2 Guinea Pigs, so you must be comfortable with pets. Light housekeeping would be needed for general picking up after yourself, the baby, and help keeping the kitchen clean.

A little bit about us

Husband and I are looking for someone tonwatch our 9 month old son on Mondays and occasionally a second day during the week from 10-3. My husband works from home but as our son has gotten older it's become harder for him to take care of him and still get his work done. I'm a pastry chef so that could mean some sweet treats! We do have two dogs that you would have to be comfortable with.

Hello!
My son is 8 Months old and such a Sweet happy baby. I usually need to drop him off by 5:30AM and I can pick up by 2:30pm or if comfortable can be dropped off at my grandparents. My grand parents watch him at the moment but he is getting to big for them. So I’m looking for someone who can keep him for a few hours for 2 days or so a week. I have taken on a new position at work so sometimes my days can be longer by an hour.
You could come to my home or I can drop off whatever is easiest.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Pasadena, MD

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Pasadena, MD

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Pasadena, MD? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
