A little bit about us

Hello,
I am looking for full time care of my infant in my home. Also help with drop off and pick up my older kids. My older kids are 7 and 4, they go to school by 730 every morning. My infant can stay home during drop off most days unless my husband is on a work trip. This is about five days a month. Pick up kiddos around four each day. The day may end earlier on some days and later if my husband is on work trip, we may need you to stay until I get home. On average this will be 40 hours a week. Hoping to get someone with infant care experience, own transportation, clean driving record, reliable. We would like someone who will be like family, we are a military family.

A little bit about us

Hello! I have a 4 month old daughter that I will need full time care for, M-F 9-5pm, as I work from home. I also have an 8 yr old son that is in school from 8-3pm, so the care will be mainly for my infant daughter. I would appreciate help with rinsing bottles/starting a load of laundry while she naps as well. Thank you!

A little bit about us

I am due with my first baby in January 2022. My husband and I will have a few weeks (i'll hopefully have more) with the baby after she is born. I'm looking for child care potentially when she is around 12 weeks old. I work a full time position Monday-Friday 8-5 and my husband's schedule is different every week. Some weeks he will have two days off during the week, sometimes he won't, or he could go in later or get off earlier than I do. So the drop offs and pick ups would be between the two of us. I'm obviously very nervous as this is our first child. But i'm trying to get ahead of the game.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Southern Pines, NC

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Southern Pines, NC

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Southern Pines, NC? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
