A little bit about us

Hello! We are looking for a full time nanny (M-F 9am-4pm) who will care for our son. Both of us work from home but will be unavailable unless assistance is needed. We do have one dog, a golden retriever, who will be there but will not require care.

Main responsibilities would be taking care of the baby (feeding, playing, prepping/cleaning bottles, etc...).

We are open to a nanny share option as well.

A little bit about us

Hello! I am looking for full time care for my children. I am transitioning from work from home to going back to my ffice full time and would need after school care for my oldest daughter who is 6 and my 2 year old daughter and 2 month old son would require care all day. Your day would start at 7:30 and end at 5:30. Our ideal nanny would be someone who could provide a structured, educational day for our 2 year old who is coming from a daycare center. She is very energetic so would require stimulating activities paired with lots of outdoor activities. Light meal prep for lunches and snacks and cleaning of the playroom and any toys brought out. Experience with infants is a MUST. There are no pets in the home.

Hi! My husband and I are expecting our first child (boy- Dallas Gregory) in June, so we need someone to start October/November. I am a nurse so because of my flexible schedule would only need help 1-2 days a week from 8-5/5:30. We would love to have someone be our nanny out of there instead of ours if possible.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Wake Forest, NC

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Wake Forest, NC

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Wake Forest, NC? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
