A little bit about us

I need someone available a few days a week. January-May. My schedule and needs for them will change in August as I am a college student.

Elijah is an Immunocompromised toddler who will need help in taking his medication he is in preschool so you'd need to be available to drop him off and pick him up! Drop off is 8:45 a.m. and pickup is 12 p.m. During this time you'll just have E so any help is appreciated around the house. I mainly expect for you to just tidy the messes they make, or occasionally doing their laundry or dishes.

Elliot is breastfed, I will have expressed milk for him.

Being up to date on your flu/covid vaccines is a must in order to keep E and E healthy.

Any and all questions will be answered either via chat or during an interview.

A little bit about us

In need of a babysitter for my son who will be 2 months (11. 5 weeks) old at the start date.

Schedule:
My schedule is consistent but unique. I need 2 days each week. 4 days a month being long days, 4 days being shorter. For example:
Week 1 - Wed. & Thurs. 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Week 2 - Mon. & Tues. 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Week 3 - Wed. & Thurs. 6 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Week 4 - Mon. &Tues. 6 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Specifications:
- First-aid and CPR certified
- Experience with infants preferred - Willing to learn my child (this will not be anything crazy, I just don't want someone that has an approach of treating every baby/child the same way)
- Comfortable with cats

Note: I do also have a 9yo son, but aside from possibly needing to open something for him once in a while, or maybe listening to a rant about games, he will not require anything from you.

A little bit about us

Need a nanny for my son, M-F 10:30am - 3:30pm, holidays excluded. Hours are a little flexible. My wife and I work from home so we would be around all day. Essentially just need someone engaging to watch and entertain him at home while helping him reach age-appropriate milestones. We'll take care of diaper changes and baths, and prefer not to expose him to any phone, TV, or tablet screens. During his naps (30-120 mins) you're free to hang out however you like - we like to be around for his wake routine (changing, feeding), then he's all yours. He's a very cheerful kid, relatively curious and has a strong will. He loves walking, and is just starting to eat solids. We also have two cats at home.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Winterville, NC

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Winterville, NC

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Winterville, NC? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
