A little bit about us

I am looking for someone to watch my two young children Declan who is 1 1/2 and Charlie who is 2 1/2. My mother in law works from home but is needed for meetings and is constantly on her computer and cannot watch them full time. No pickup or drop off needed. The only responsibilities would be diapers, feeding and interacting with them. I prefer someone who is very comfortable and experienced with two or more young children close in age. They can be overwhelming for me, so I want to know that this person could handle it. My children are my life, nothing else is more important than them. I would stay at home with them if I could as I do not trust many with them. We would have you meet the children, I and my mother in law first. I am a laidback person who wants to know their children are in good hands. Declan has a chromosomal disorder that has resulted in developmental delays. He just learned how to walk and goes to therapy. I am looking for someone 2-3 days a week currently between the hours of 8-4 or 9-5. Hourly pay is negotiable.

A little bit about us

My fiancé and I have 2 wonderful little boys Declan and Charlie they are full of energy and definitely keep you on your toes. Declan is 4 months and Charlie is 1.5 years and a handful. We would need mostly daytime hours between 9-3 each each to mitigate the time I am at work and she is going to work.
As far as responsibilities go they are both in diapers still and Declan is still bottle fed, so feeding and changing diapers will be part of the job.

A little bit about us

Looking into the possibility of having some help taking care of the baby for a couple hours maybe 2 days a week just to give me a chance to get some things done. Must have your own transportation and be comfortable with cats in the house. We’re just considering options so we can be flexible and work with you. Baby boy is 5 months old and loves to smile and laugh with you.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Norton, OH

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Norton, OH

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Norton, OH? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
