A little bit about us

Looking for someone to care for our cutie.
I work from home, but cannot watch this little girl unfortunately. She'll be almost 16 weeks old when we need care starting in August.

We're extremely lucky that she's a very chill baby. Only has a teeny cry when she's hungry, wet, or needs to burp. She's very snuggly and loves to smile. We have 4 cats, but you'll only see 1 until 2 others are familiar with you. The 4th stays in my office with me.

Since I work from home, I would be here if anything was needed but otherwise want to leave care in your hands during my working hours.

We're first time parents who are head over heels for this little girl. There wouldn't be any household tasks with this position. I am also exclusively pumping so I'd take care of having her food prepped for you.

We're looking for 4 days a week (7:30am or 8:00am to 4:00pm), Monday-Tuesday and Thursday-Friday. If you're available, there might be opportunities for more hours when I have to travel for work or our schedules change.

If you're a student and need to do any classwork, that's fine with us as long as she's cared for during that time. We both have multiple degrees so we might be helpful with school too.

Thanks for your interest in our new family and our little girl.

A little bit about us

I would love for my kids to have a nanny that would take care of them and play with them. I work as a nurse in the hospital and need a babysitter so I could work. My only days off are Wednesdays and Thursdays. So I would only need a babysitter to watch them Monday and Tuesdays. Let me know if you are interested!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Morristown, TN

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Morristown, TN

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Morristown, TN? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
