A little bit about us

Hi! I am looking for childcare for our 3 month old, 5 year old and 10 year old from 5:30am to drop off at school/daycare (around 7:30am) and that’s it! It would be 1-2 days a week with varying days as my schedule isn’t set, but it would for sure be between Monday through Friday and I would let you know at least 2-3 weeks in advance. You would be responsible for feeding them (we have premade stuff they can eat) and get them ready for school (the older two are good about getting themselves ready for the most part). You must have a valid drivers license and be able to take them to daycare/school. If you are interested in this please message me and we can talk further!

A little bit about us

Our daughter, Emily, is the sweetest baby that either of us has ever met. She is inquisitive, happy, loving and so so smart. My wife is a graduate student at Baylor University and I work from home. Our jobs are somewhat flexible but our daughter needs a little bit more attention that either of us are capable of giving.

I have 3 kiddos Ireland(5) Demauri(1) and Emerald(2 months) oldest 2 are very energetic and love the park and playing outdoors. We are a tight knit family. I’m looking for someone who can help out once or twice during the week after 5:30pm for an occasional date night for the Mr. & myself. Overnight sometimes during a weekend. On those days I would need help with dinner and putting to bed. Occasional pick up if needed as well.

A little bit about us

My little guy is 6 months old and the easiest sweetest baby ever! I am needing support while I work. I do work from home, however, I still need a support person as he is still an infant. The hours would likely be from 10 AM - 2 PM. My expectations would be that you would handle diaper changes, play time, feedings, and supervise his naps while I work. Potentially more responsibility as we form a positive working relationship and mutual trust :)

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Waco, TX

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Waco, TX

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Waco, TX? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
