A little bit about us

My baby will need to be watched from 6AM to 5PM at the latest. I get off at 4PM so I should be home by then but just in case there is a bit of extra time. I do have an elder german shepherd but she is a sweet heart and will just lay around the whole time. Let her out on the leash every few hours and she will be good.

A little bit about us

Looking for a nanny to watch my 4 year old and newborn (born November 2023) while I work from home. Hours would be 7a-1pm 4-5 days a week - but can be flexible working around a school/class schedule if needed (during weekdays only no weekends). I would need help with taking my 8 year old son to school in the mornings which is only about a mile away. My 4 and 8 year old go to their dads and Arkansas for most of the summer but my step sons 9 and 13 will be here in July. Looking for a retired women or college girl looking for extra income. I also keep my home very clean and would like help with light house keeping/picking up after baby. If you are a sahm and looking for extra money as well, please message me. You can possible bring your child with you.

A little bit about us

We are having our first baby, a boy, in early July. We are looking for a full time nanny that might also be able to do some errands, care a bit for the dogs, and/or some personal assistant work with us.

I will be a full-time stay at home mom, so I will be home often if not most of the day, but I need help with this transition to becoming a mother. My husband has a very busy work schedule and often works weekends as well, so me receiving help caring for the baby and the home during the day will help lighten his load of work when he gets home everyday.

We’d like Monday through Friday (occasional weekend help for a few hours for overtime) from around 7 am to 4 pm (this could change by an hour or so in either direction).

A little bit about us

I work from home, and am looking for a Hebrew-speaking (or learning!) carer to spend 5-20 hours/week in my home, playing with my 2 1/2 year old daughter and 9 month old son, and especially practicing their Hebrew vocabulary. My daughter is very intelligent and outgoing but has a speech delay that frustrates her. She is in an English-speaking speech therapy program.

I think I'd like to at around 5 hours a week and work our way up as we get to know each other and decide if we're a good fit.

I do have lots Hebrew-speaking books, audio, and videos available for someone who clicks really well with us, to use while working, if not fluent. I wouldn't expect you to spend time studying outside of work, obviously, but to do some while here and the kids are occupied. Fluency isn't a dealbreaker, as the kids are both young and learning basics.

Both kids are easygoing, happy, and good at entertaining themselves--I've always worked from home alone with them no problem-- and I will always be available if needed. My older boys are 17 and 19 and may be around to help out sometimes.

Mid-morning to early-afternoon M-F works best for me right now, but there is some flexibility available.

If I could find someone who would also be willing to do light housework sometimes during down-times, for example when my daughter wants to play alone or watch a Hebrew-language video and the baby is napping, that would be great because I have a hard time keeping up with some little things like the running the steam mop over the floors / folding laundry / vacuuming the pet hair off the sofa / putting away the clean dishes.

I do cook, and will always have real meals prepped/snacks in the pantry available to you.

We do have dogs and an indoor/outdoor cat, but they can be kept upstairs while you work if they're bothersome. (Which they often are.)

I may be able to provide transportation in some cases.

Just reach out if you're interested at all-I'm looking forward to getting to know you!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Wichita Falls, TX

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Wichita Falls, TX

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Wichita Falls, TX? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
