Hi! We are looking for a full-time nanny to care for our son starting in January of 2026. He will be 5 months old in January, so we’d like to find someone who has experience with infants and thrives looking after children his age. We are an active family and would like our son to get outside daily whether for story time or a nice walk. We are also looking for help with basic chores related to our son (his laundry, tidying his room, cleaning up his lunch dishes, etc.)

A little bit about us

Hi!
We are looking for nanny help for two very cute and happy one year olds. They are 15 and 14 months old, and they're cousins.

We are looking for a nanny with a clean criminal record & two references. The nanny will be asked to perform a drug screening test and will be asked to show proof of vaccination for COVID-19 & the flu.

Pay will be based on experience. ($15 - $20/hour).

We have a dedicated floor in our house where the nanny can watch the kiddos. It includes everything you'd need for food, rest, TV, internet, etc.

Benefits include payroll, snacks, drinks, parents who work from home and are willing to help when they can.

If this all sounds good, we would love to hear from you!

What is an Infant Nanny in Murray, UT

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Murray, UT? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
