A little bit about us

We have 3 kids, 2 of whom need a nanny while my husband and I work. He works from home mostly but occasionally will be out of town for business, I work emergency dispatch for rotating shifts, day and swing. We need someone loving and reliable to care for our sweet babies, Charlotte and Ari. Charlotte is 2 and a very verbal, polite little girl who can play all day. Ari is 10 months and is e happiest little boy to ever exist, he wants to eat constantly. Light cleaning after meals, story time, and walks are our expectations, no driving, cleaning, or cooking. Meals will be prepared and in the fridge for both children.

A little bit about us

Have three wonderful loving boys, the two older ones love to play, watch movies, do crafts and love to talk, while our youngest will be one in July. Our two older ones are 7 and 8. Our oldest is in fulltime elementary school. The other is currently homeschooled until we can find a school to fit his needs. Our 7 year old is ADHD and is on the Autism Specturm. But he is a real sweetheart. Most of the time the schedule needed for a nanny would be Mon-Fri from 7:40AM-4:30PM. To start it would be Mon, Wed, Fri from 7:40AM-4:30PM until we feel more comfortable and the kids have gotten into a routine with you. If you can, we are looking for someone that can provide a stimulating schedule to keep our boys active, while also staying caught up on their homework or reading. We also love when they are able to play outside or go to a park. We have three cats in our home, and have a fairly small house that we would appreciate some light house work, like rotating laundry or just cleaning the boys dishes and putting it into the dish washer after they've finished snack or lunch. Our cats have a self cleaning litterbox and self feeder/water so they won't need any pet care.

A little bit about us

We are looking for child care for our 3 children; Nora, Gilly, and Beau. Dad works nights so he’ll be in our room sleeping after 8am. Hours would be 4:30am-8:30pm either Monday Wednesday or Friday, varying by week. Their dad works a 2/3 schedule so one week the days will be Monday and Friday and some weeks just Wednesday. Some days the hours will be less- for example some days I’m home by 4pm so the hours would be 4:30 am-4pm. Willing to negotiate a flat wage if that’s more applicable for you but we’re offering $15/h, and you can use our car, which is a 3 row Audi suv.

A little bit about us

We will be moving in summer 2025. As such, we need short term childcare for our youngest while we prepare for the transition.

I work from home as a therapist. My hours are fairly flexible. However, I do need to offer evening sessions once per week and some weekend sessions. However, the exact days and times have some flexibility. I currently offer evening sessions on Tuesdays and weekends on Sunday mornings.

Our daughter is 16 months old. She is incredibly vocal and joyful. She loves to dance and color and play outside.

We also have a 5 year old son who is in daycare M-Th 9a-3p. It is possible that some pick up/drop off would be necessary for him. As well as evening or weekend times.

We also have a 9mo cavapoo and a 3yo cat. They are incredibly friendly and minimal care of them would be required; but it is important to know that there are pets in the home.

A little bit about us

I need some help at least once per week and possibly a few times a week while I am going to school. My daughter is VERY energetic but is super sweet and kind. My son is very calm but likes to be held most of the time. My daughter loves hiking and playing in our backyard. I'd like some light housework done as well if possible.

A little bit about us

We have a sweet baby boy who just turned 6 months. Me and my husband work from home. I work part time but have some days where I’m very busy. We need someone to entertain him during those days and babysit for date nights every so often. We want someone who he has the chance to know very well as he is very attached to us at the moment and has a little bit of separation anxiety.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Ogden, UT

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Ogden, UT

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Ogden, UT? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
