A little bit about us

At this time, we are not actively hiring a nanny, but we anticipate needing one within the next 4-6 months. A little about us: we are a family of four with two young children, ages 3 and 1. We are hoping to find someone who is reliable, caring, and experienced.
If our current work schedule remains the same, we expect to need care on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 1:00pm to 4:00pm (approximately 9 hours per week). We welcome all to reach out or check back closer to that time frame, as we would be happy to connect when we begin our search.

A little bit about us

Need someone Tuesday through Friday from 6:30am to 12:30pm.
We do have two dogs that bark a lot with strangers but get used to them after seeing them constantly. Won’t have to take care of the dogs. Just need someone to watch my son until his dad comes home from after I leave for work.

Hi, my husband and I have a newborn and I’ll be going back to work in June when she will be 4 months old. We both work from home and need a nanny from 10am through 4pm on weekdays. We’d love to do a nanny share with someone in the area (98001) at our home or theirs.

We need a nanny who is dependable, caring, great at establishing a routine and comfortable with dogs and cats. Possibly some meal prep and light house work. Thank you!

A little bit about us

We need a nanny for our newborn child and possible pick up from school across the street for our 7-year-old in Auburn. And we're looking now, but wouldn't need someone till October after the baby is born. I work from home so I would be here, but will need help watching the baby while working. Some light tidying up would be part of our caregiver's responsibilities.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Auburn, WA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Auburn, WA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Auburn, WA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
