A little bit about us

Looking for someone to watch my baby girl and two dogs when I start work end of January! Don’t mine nanny sharing if the other child is close to my daughter’s age and is also watched at my house. Amelia will be 6 months at the start of the job and will be learning sign language, very little screen time allowed, drinking breast milk and eating baby foods that I purée for her. I will have her on a schedule and can provide lunch to you as her nanny! I will also try to come home for lunches. The two dogs are a golden retriever and a black lab who are great with Amelia already and pretty well behaved dogs. Depending on where it is I wouldn’t mind some outings during the day while I’m at work. Going on walks or a little ice cream run sometimes when she is a little older would be ok if the nanny is up for it and wants out of the house. I don’t expect the nanny to clean my house or cook. I will do my best to have meals ready and in the fridge or crockpot I only ask that you pick up throughout the day but I can sweep, vacuum etc. looking for a fun attentive nanny with experience with babies.

A little bit about us

We're looking for a nanny/parents helper for our 16 month old daughter. We are flexible on days of the week and hours, but are hoping for at least 20 hours/week.

We'd like to find someone who is willing to do some light housework (picking up, dishes). Willingness to occasionally walk our dog is a plus, but not mandatory.

We plan on using a payroll service to ensure we're above board with tax requirements.

A little bit about us

We are seeking an energetic in home nanny for our two sons ages 3 years old and 8 months old. We have a unique situation as my husband is a fire fighter in Kent. He commutes and works 24 hour (occasionally 48 hour) shifts with the days varying each week. We have the entire 2021 schedule prepared. A typical week would include two full days (7:30 - 5:30) and one half day [phone number hidden]) with an average of 80 hours per month. Our 3-year-old will be starting pre-school two days per week in September - you will need to pick him up and drop him off. We also have him in other activities such as swimming lessons and gymnastics. We would also ask for you to help with light housework such as laundry, daily tidying up, and picking up groceries. It would be a bonus if you are available for the occasional date night as well!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Wenatchee, WA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Wenatchee, WA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Wenatchee, WA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
