A little bit about us

We are located in Yelm and are looking for Wednesday/Friday care for our almost 10 month old son and 3.5 year old son. We also have a 6 year old daughter that would be home after kindergarten and in the summers. Hours would be 9-5ish. (I start at 9:30 working from home upstairs - and my husband gets home shortly after 4:30). I could potentially switch to Mondays and Wednesdays if that would work better for you. We value outside play time (we have a fenced back yard and live walking distance to the school and parks.)

A little bit about us

We have 1 boy who will be 6 months when we need someone to start. Start date would be December 12th so we have plenty of time before we actually need someone. The during December the hours are certain due to the holidays and both my husband and I work retail. But after we get through the holidays we would need someone Friday( 9am-6pm), Saturday(9am-6pm) and Sunday(10am-4pm). This is around 24 hours. We have 2 hyper dogs which will just need to be let in and out to go potty and 3 cats who don't need any special attention.

A little bit about us

We are looking for a nanny for our 6 month old daughter Delta. I work from home so we really just need someone to play with and entertain her so I can get some work done. Occasionally I’ll need you to feed her if I have meetings but I’m still breastfeeding so I’ll do most of the feeding. Looking for someone 3 days/week from 9AM - 4PM. Hoping to find someone fun and engaging to keep her happy! ☺️

A little bit about us

We have two kids under 3 years of age. Dad works long hours and mom is interested in going back to work.

Both of our little ones have some food allergies and we are always very careful about anything with egg or dairy in it. There are a couple other allergies but these are the big ones.

We are interested in having someone live with us and be willing to work full time hours Monday through Friday.

Thanks!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Yelm, WA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Yelm, WA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Yelm, WA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
