A little bit about us

Hey, my name is Will and my wife's name is Cecilia. We have a daughter named Alice who was born in June 2025 and would need a nanny about 8 to 10 hours a day Monday through Thursday. Cecilia works from home so would be in the house while you care for Alice.

We are looking for a nanny to begin as early as January 5th, with some flexibility for a later start date. Hours would be roughly 6:45 am until about 4 pm (flexible end between 3 and 5 pm).

We have one dog who would also be in the space, though we can work to find a solution to keep him separate if desired.

A little bit about us

Hello!

We recently had our second baby girl, Abigail, join the family. She’s now just a couple
Months old. Meanwhile, we have our hands full with our 18 month old girl, Elliana, and our dog, Maisel.

While we watch the kids currently, it would be great to get help for 1-2 days each week. Someone that can be in the home with us and watch the girls or stay at home if we need to go it for errands, or take the girls out to the park or zoo to give time at home.

It would be a big value add if this person can watch the kids and also clean up the house each day, while here. Being able to help keep things in order and clean is one of the primary things we are looking.

Looking for a true partner in a nanny, for the long term, that the girls can get to know and grow up with :)

This person would work two full days each week, 8ish hour days.

A little bit about us

Work 8 hours a week, either one full day or split four hours over two days.

I’m a stay at home on so I’ll be home. I just need some time to run errands and do things around the house. I can’t do while watching him.
He is exclusively breast-fed so I would still take over the feedings and would never be gone longer than the two hours in between. I do also have a cat.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Gig Harbor, WA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Gig Harbor, WA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Gig Harbor, WA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
