A little bit about us

Our daughter is almost 2 years old. Hours 8am-4pm. Start date and hours are flexible.
She’s a sweet girl who loves her friends and routine. She enjoys arts and crafts, music, books, nature walks and learning.
Example of a daily schedule is after breakfast nanny and munchkin are headed out for the day’s adventures of either tiny tunes, story time, play group, play dates, nature walk, etc. Home for nap time (usually between 12:30–1) then after nap is snack and more activity hopefully outdoors. During the nap is your break and opportunity to tidy up the play area and clean up dishes from the morning. Nap time is usually 90mins - 2 hours but sometimes longer.
Expectations are fairly basic: clean up after you and the little one by the end of the day. We don’t expect anyone to clean up after us but if a counter needs to be cleaned or laundry flipped over, we would appreciate the help.
No smoking, drinking or drug use. No perfumes or heavy scented lotions.
We have some flexibility with our rate but it only allows us to enter one number and not a range on the profile.
We provide the vehicle for her daily activities away from the house.

What is an Infant Nanny in Kingston, WA

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Kingston, WA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
