A little bit about me

Looking after children requires a lot of energy and attention to detail, but it is something I enjoy wholeheartedly! My name is Jennifer and when I started my first nanny job in college, I knew I had a passion for working with children. As a nanny, I understand that every child is an individual and each family has different needs. I’m able to provide personalized nanny care to young children of all ability levels as well as older children eager to learn and explore the world around them. I am currently pursuing a degree in nursing with hopes of one day becoming a pediatric nurse!

It’s incredibly important for the family to feel confident and secure entrusting their children to a nanny. This is why I would love to discuss in more detail what you are looking for in a caretaker and how my skills, knowledge, and professional approach may make a positive contribution to your child's development.

A little bit about me

I started out babysitting a toddler boy, being raised by a single mom, that was about 2.5 years old when I started babysitting him. He was about 3.5 years old when I stopped. He was most likely developmentally delayed as he was never very verbal with his speech though he had a strong set of lungs during his frequent tantrums. He was also not showing signs of being ready for potty training so pull-up changes were common. I would often pick up wipes and pull-ups for him on my trips down to Anaheim to babysit. I also provided care on days where he sick. Since then I've gone on to care for infants between 5-months old up to 11-months old. Providing all ranges of care including changing diapers, feeding bottles and solids, burping (cared for a 6-month-old that had bad reflux so he would be spitting-up constantly), providing interactive tummy time and getting them to sleep for naps/bed time including contact naps. I've also cared for toddlers ranging from 15-months old to 2-years-old.
