A little bit about us

We have to energetic boys ages 5 and 7.

Needing full-time summer care (50-60 hours/week) with less hours during the school year and a split day schedule (approximately 35 hours per week). During the school year we need someone to get them ready for school and do school drop off, some house management tasks during the day (loading/unloading dishwasher, kids laundry), then pick them up from school in the afternoon and help with homework, feed them dinner, and get them ready for bed. Afternoon school time hours are approximately [phone number hidden] daily. We rarely need weekend hours and discuss that ahead of time.

We do have a dog that is outside during the day, no pet care needed.

A little bit about us

Myself and Husband, both have professional jobs that keep us busy, but we make it a priority to spend time with our child. We would love to make you a part of our family and would welcome you spending some of your free time with us – but we also understand you will want to have your own social life. We take pride in making our own dinner most nights and eating healthy. We like to take a walk after dinner many nights. We encourage each other and we accept feedback to make ourselves into better individuals. We do not have any pets. We are a non-smoking household and would prefer an au pair that does not smoke.

Typical tasks and responsibilities may include:

1. Providing childcare: Taking care of the child's daily needs, such as feeding, bathing, and dressing.

2. Engaging in educational activities: Planning and participating in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities for the child.

4. Organizing playtime: Planning and supervising playdates and fun activities for our child.

5. Preparing meals: Cooking and feeding nutritious meals and snacks .

6. Light housekeeping: Maintaining the child's living areas

  • Can you tell me about where in the house I will live? Will I have my own bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, etc? Do I have my own entrance?
  • What are your expectations around the cleanliness and tidiness of my living quarters?
  • What level of privacy can I expect after hours?
