I have experience w/ various age groups. I am currently an elementary school SW, & RBT servicing kiddos with disabilities, primarily ASD. Ive spent a dedicated time researching teachers needs to serve children with autism in mainstream classroom settings!
Some of my interest include, hanging out with friends & family, going to zoos, museums, amusement & neighborhood parks, movies, going for a nice swim, & going local to festivals. I LOVE being creative. I can meet families needs rather thats going out with the kiddos for date night, or staying in & having lots of fun! The outdoors is my first home. One of my biggest strengths is my amazing ability to connect with children. I enjoy getting down on a child’s level and meeting each one where they are. I work hard on redirecting attention because small children need positive reinforcement not harsh punishment. I set kids up for success, meaning we go over expectation and behavior before we experience something new.
What I willing to do is help out around the house so that the kids can have more time to hang out with you when you are home. I am willing to do chores, errands, exercise animals and help out however you need! I am easy going and roll with the punches, I know that sometimes life happens and I am okay with that!
