A little bit about us

I am returning to work (from home) after some time off, and I’m looking for help for half days during the week. I’d prefer afternoons but can be flexible.

My daughter is 8 months old, and she is very active. She likes walks, has started crawling and cruising, and loves to eat! She is pretty attached to me because she's been home with me for the last 3 months, so there might be some challenges at first with things like bottles and nap time without me. She's a really happy baby, but I do need someone who is confident handling the occasional meltdown and separation anxiety.

I will be working from home, but if you are in my home, I will be trying to stay out of sight during the time you are there.

I’m looking for a nanny share as an alternative to daycare because I am trying to practice social distancing, and I would like to work with others who are doing the same!

A little bit about us

Hello! We are a family of three, with one 3 1/2 month old happy little boy. I am a teacher here in Austin and my husband is a firefighter. We are very lucky to have schedules that allow us to care for our son a majority of the time, however we will need care when our work schedules overlap. We do need someone who is willing to be flexible with days as my husband is on a 48/96 schedule. His back to back shifts rotate each week so the days we need care will change as well. There will be some weeks that we only need care for one full day and a morning, while other weeks we would need care for two full days and a morning. He is also in the Marines Corps so there are some military commitments that he must honor as well. We are open to nanny sharing, we would love to find another family on shift schedule to be able to rotate days!

A little bit about us

My girlies are earthy explorers that love art, science and to use every ounce of their imaginations. Briar is 4.5 and is active as they get! Learning how to skateboard, hand stands, climber and fashion shows. Juniper is 2.5 and is introverted, loves her books, silly faces, baby dolls, act like a puppy/kitty and loves to laugh at everything. Both children are vegetarian and are allergic to dairy. We focus on redirecting, taking breathing breaks and talk things out when appropriate. I am a newly single parent, 28, moved to Austin last September and work part time but trying to work full time with the help of childcare.

Full-Time Nanny Needed (Starting October)
We are looking for a caring and reliable full-time nanny to care for our son, who will be about 7 months old. The position is based in our home, where both my husband and I work remotely. We need someone available Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, starting in October when we return to full-time work.

Responsibilities:
Providing primary childcare during working hours, including feeding, diaper changes, naps, and engaging in age-appropriate activities/enrichment
Light household tasks while the baby naps, such as laundry, dishes, and general tidying.
Baby-related errands, including restocking diapers/formula and cleaning bottles.
We do have a dog in the home, but no pet care will be required as part of the nanny's responsibilities.

Our ideal nanny is experienced with infants, attentive, and comfortable working in a home where parents are present. If you’re nurturing, responsible, and looking for a long-term role, we’d love to hear from you!
