A little bit about us

My husband and I are looking for a Nanny starting January 2021. We will have a 4 month old by then.

We are open to flexible scheduling, since I work in retail management. We were thinking Mon-Thur 7:30a-5:30p

Main responsibilities would be child care. No expected pick ups or drop off. We do have two dogs that are pretty easy going. When the weather is nice, you can literally keep them outside all day. They are also kennel trained.

A little bit about us

My wife and I have shift based schedules that can change days wise per week. Generally, on days we need coverage it will be from 8:00am-6:00pm. It can include Saturdays, but never Sundays. Only expectation is to watch our little 3 month old at home. Our little girl is Charlotte. She is a bundle of joy and is absolutely lovely.

How should I prepare for a nanny interview in San Antonio, TX?

Preparation for a nanny interview is key to landing the job. You should be ready to discuss your experience, skills, and approach to child care. Be prepared to answer common nanny interview questions about scenarios related to child safety, conflict resolution, and age-appropriate activities. Remember, interviews are not only about the family learning more about you but also about you getting to know the family.

What does a typical nanny interview process look like?

A typical nanny interview process usually involves an initial phone screening, followed by one or two in-person interviews. The family might ask you to interact with the children during one of these interviews. Some families may also request a trial period. This is an opportunity for both parties to ensure a good fit before committing to a formal agreement, which is usually outlined in a nanny contract.
