A little bit about us
Our boys are 6 and 18 mos, super fun and mostly spend time playing outside or in the older one's room. The older one is almost done with Kindergarten and is highly creative and high energy and does well with a similar personality.
Our 18-month old is a joy to be around. All caregivers have remarked how "easy" he is since he was a baby. No promises as he enters his toddler era though! ;)
In terms of discipline we follow 1-2-3 Magic and have all caregivers to do the same. It's basically just an organized and calm way of implementing time outs if needed.
The 6 yo is very familiar with the program and likely won't need it much. We will most likely be implementing for the toddler around 2 yo. For now, we tend to just keep him in 'yes' environments and redirect gently.
We are also a home with 2 cats, a dog, and 2 parents who work from home -- we are warm, relaxed, and friendly. Some quirks are that we are a sensory-sensitive family so we limit screen time and battery-operated toys. Looking forward to finding a great match!
