A little bit about us
I'm looking for a great babysitter for our 9-year-old son (with occasional responsibility for our 5-year-old son when daycare is closed). The ideal candidate will be caring, engaging, and enjoys bonding & spending time with children. We also need help to keep our family functioning! Meal prep, laundry, organizing kids toys, dishes, occasional errands, etc. would be part of the responsibilities. Our start date and exact hours are flexible, but need someone that is available at a minimum during after school hours (2:15pm-5:15 p.m. M/T/W/F and 11:30am-5:15 p.m. Th) - ideal candidate would be available for occasional date nights (~1x/month) and travel (~2x/year) but not required. We look forward to meeting you!

Responsibilities center around taking care of the baby: playing, feeding, changing, reading books, accompanying mum and baby on errands and outings, and putting baby down for naps. Some light housekeeping assistance during naps would be wonderful, such as prepping solids, taking care of baby supplies and laundry, and cleaning up play/common areas.
Basic requirements include:
3+ years of professional experience taking care of infants and young children;
Clean bill of health with proof of current immunizations (Hepatitis, Tdap, MMR, Flu);
Current drivers license with own insured vehicle;
No allergies to cats and dogs (we have 2 cats and the second family owns a dog);
Available referrals for reference.
English and/or Mandarin speaking preferred. Experience with the Montessori philosophy would be a huge bonus!
