A little bit about us
About us: We’re a warm, supportive family of four (plus a friendly cat) based in Riverside, CA. With two busy toddlers (ages 1.5 and 2.5), we’re looking for a proactive and kind mother’s helper to join our team. Most of the time, you’ll be working alongside mom—each caring for one child—but we’d love someone who is also comfortable being responsible for one child on their own if mom needs to step out for an appointment or outing with the other.
Schedule
• Please don’t go by the days listed on the profile as shifts will depend on needs.
Flexibility welcomed: someone who can do weekends and evenings, and occasionally fill in during the weekdays when needed.
Your Role & Responsibilities
• Team up with mom to care for the toddlers—switching kids as needed
• Confidently care for one child on your own when mom is with the other
• Assist with feeding, diapering, potty routines, nap times, and fun, age-appropriate activities
• In addition to childcare, we’re looking for someone who can help with day-to-day household tasks that make family life run more smoothly
• Responsibilities may include family laundry, dishes, light meal prep, emptying garbage bins, vacuuming, basic cleaning, pet care (cat), organizing, and occasional errands
• The goal is to keep the home feeling clean, organized, and ready for the next day, allowing mom more time to focus on the kids
Ideal Candidate:
• Experienced in caring for infants and toddlers (independently and with parents present)
• Proactive and responsible, with excellent time-management and the ability to anticipate needs
• Fun, warm, and kind—a nurturing personality that connects with little ones
• Dependable and punctual, with strong communication and trustworthiness
• OK with cameras in the house
Compensation & Hiring
• Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience
• Hiring process includes a background check and reference verification
