A little bit about me

I am currently a junior at University of Tennessee pursuing a my BSN and a minor in child and family studies. I grew up in the Liberty Twp area and attended and a college-preparatory high school. I will be home over the summer and looking for semi-flexible work hours. I have previously volunteered at numerous summer camps, primarily focused with grades k-8 in addition to volunteering with ages 3-6 through a sunday school program. I previously worked at a nursing home as a STNA during the summer. During my time off in the summers I enjoy going to the pool, traveling, and spending my weekends on the lake wakeboarding, skiing, and tubing. I am CPR certified and up-to-date on vaccinations. I am energetic and look forward to making your children's summer as fun and exciting as possible.

A little bit about me

hey everyone!
my name is Bleydy Romero, i’m 25, i was born in colombia where i graduated from university and got my bachelors in English language teaching. Always worked with kids as a teacher/tutor so i have experienced in the field. i love to have fun with them and trying to explore their worlds and interests.
I love sports so i always be trying to get kids to be active and to move at the same time they have fun. Always been into arts (all kinds) that’s why singing, dancing, painting, and the like are included in my services.
The most important feature for me when working with kids is LOVE, there’s nothing that can go wrong if you have love in your heart to take care of those little souls.

Understand Nanny Responsibilities in Atlanta, GA

Before beginning the search for a nanny, it’s important to understand what you’re looking for and if a nanny is the right choice for your child care needs. In hiring a nanny, first, you should think through what responsibilities you expect your nanny to handle. With that information, you can create a profile so that nannies can reach out to you. The boundaries for nannies duties vary from family to family. In general, a nanny is responsible for making sure your children’s needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. When tasks go beyond child care, for example, housekeeping or meal preparation, it’s good practice to communicate these expectations with your nanny before hiring them. Along with the different duties that you ask for, experience and location can impact how much you should pay your nanny.

Atlanta Nanny Interviews

Once you start connecting with prospective nannies, the next step is a nanny interview. To make things a bit easier, here’s a list of some nanny interview questions to consider asking:

  • Do you have experience being a nanny?
  • How do you handle tantrums? Can you share an experience disciplining children?
  • What sort of household tasks are you open to doing?
  • Are you open to a live in arrangement in Atlanta? Do you have experience being a live in nanny?
  • Are you open to being a nanny in a nanny share?
  • Do you have any references?
  • Are you trained in First Aid or CPR in Atlanta?
  • Do you have a driver’s license in GA? Do you own a car?
  • What salary are you seeking? Are you open to being paid through direct-deposit, pay stubs?
  • What are your expectations around over-time pay and vacation time?

During the hiring process, it’s essential to ask for references, and by asking their references questions you gain a better understanding of they will fit in your family. As you get closer to hiring a nanny, be sure to run a background check to ensure your kids are in good hands. When evaluating a prospective nanny, it’s essential to make sure you’re setting the foundation for a good relationship with your nanny. You can do this by being clear about your expectations around nanny responsibilities and compensation, and of course, by being friendly and welcoming! And of course, as you learn how to hire a nanny, Nanny Lane's nanny services are here to help

Daycare vs. Hiring a Nanny
