I have been around children at an early age and have always found joy working with them. I was a nanny and babysat for a previous neighbor and family friend for eight years. I fed them meals, changed diapers, and helped potty train. They had two girls, seven years apart and I babysat the younger one from birth until the age of around six. I volunteered for Junior Achievement in Licking County for a period of four weeks. This involved traveling to different classrooms and teaching fourth graders about States and Capitals, Regions, Resources and Economics. I had a wonderful experience interacting with the kids and being responsible for the classroom. I was also a teacher's aid at , which is responsible for educating newborns up to the age of three. These children are at risk or already have a learning disability. I gained so much from this experience and was very touched by one student in particular. Her name was Maddie, who had a big heart and dealing with the challenges of being deaf. We became close and it was hard leaving her at the end. I enjoy working with children and love the feeling of making a positive impact in a child's life. I get a sense of accomplishment helping them learn through different activities and discovering their unique personalities. It is very rewarding to know that I made a positive difference. I can only remember a few people who made a strong impact when I was young. I would love to be that person for your child/children. Thank you for your consideration!

I've worked with 3 large families, 2 with a total of 6 or more children and one with a set of triplets age 5 and a 1 year old little girl, I have also worked with 2 other families with only 2 children and watched smaller children in our church nursery when I was younger. I have plenty of experience and excellent references from 4 families I have cared for and character references. I am currently employed as a nanny full time to a family I've been with over a year. They recently moved and I am looking for something closer to my home.
