A little bit about me

Hello!

My name is Leonidas and I am a first-year nursing student at the University of Portland. I am hoping to work part time around my class schedule, which means mostly mornings, late evenings, and the whole weekend. We can of course discuss this in more detail if you're interested in working with me!

Prior to looking for a job as a nanny, I babysat for my neighbors starting at around 12 or 13. When I got older, I began working for my local YMCA as a swim coach, instructor, and lifeguard- which I did from September of 2021 until July of 2022. I relocated to Portland for school in August, and have been looking for part-time employment since.

I am experienced in working with kiddos and absolutely adore them. My previous employment allowed me to become First Aid and CPR certified, and I have experience working with special needs children both one on one and in group settings. I am a licensed driver of more than a year, but I am not in possession of my own vehicle.

A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Natalie! I am a graduation senior from UVM. I am from San Francisco, but have lived in Burlington the past four years and am not quite ready to leave! I have about 8 years of experience in childcare and would consider myself a fun, adventurous, patient, attentive, and responsible care giver. Through my various babysitting experiences, I have learned about the importance of a balance between responsibility and providing an exciting and enjoyable environment for children. I worked at a summer camp the past two summers in which I was responsible for creating positive learning spaces for groups of children while ensuring to be attentive to their needs. Given the current state and uncertainty of our world, I believe this is a time in which everybody, children especially, need positive and motivating influences in their lives. I would be happy to provide tutoring and/or other forms of educational learning to help address the issues of lack of school and/or camps.

A little bit about me

Hi! My name is May and I am a 25 year old college student. I used to work as an educational assistant with special needs kids of all ages. I don't have kids of my own but I have little cousins and nieces and nephews who I love dearly. I love to take them to the park and we also like to go for walks, color, watch movies, etc. Hanging out with my nieces and nephews is the highlight of my day. Kids bring me so much joy and brighten up my day.

Working with kids wouldn't feel like working, it would feel like healing my childhood through playing and hanging out with them.
