The little 9-year old girl also loves to play and will join on her own in activities. She is pretty much independent, aside from needing little reminders like doing her homework and taking a shower.
The parents ideal nanny has:
Experience with kids on the autism spectrum,
Is young at heart, loves to play, fun, responsible, bubbly and knows how to engage in various fun activities.
Tutoring skills are a plus!
Additionally, a nanny who can travel with them 2 times per year and stay overnight when the parents travel without the children.
Responsibilities
Supervise, provide care, and play with sweet 5 year-old boy on the autism spectrum who has many words but is delayed in conversational speech and is at risk of elopement.
SCHEDULE: Monday- Friday 3:00PM-7:00PM. Occasional Saturdays (2 per month) and occasional travel with the family (2x per year). The parents will also like to take some time to travel without the kids and will need the nanny to take over during this time, therefore, full-time, live-in childcare will be needed.
MUST:
• Experience with children on autism spectrum
• Have First Aid and CPR
• Light cleaning (related to the children)
• Excellent Swimmer
• Be available to travel
• Commit to a minimum of 12 months; ideally 2-3 years
• Weekend and/ or evening childcare
• Meal preparation for the children
• Be fully vaccinated
