i am a 3 yr nanny. ive babysat kids from 8wks to 15yrs old. ive got experience with kids with lots of mental and physical disabilities. for example (autism, down syndrome, borderline personality disorder, adhd)
i love teaching kids how to do art projects, we build forts, we learn numbers and colors, we learn sign language, we play with sensory toys, we read books, we play with water, we play with toys, we cook, we explore nature, we do scavenger hunts. we color, we do puzzles, we sing, we dance, we go on walks, we practice listening by playing games like simon says. we interact with other kids at parks, we play memory games ect.
I like to make the time i have with the kids as fun as possible and still let them learn at the same time. i do not use tv as a entertainment source. unless i am making dinner and need to focus. but i always run it by the parent first.
i am cpr certified, grew up with 14 siblings. i am covid vacinated and i love spending time with kids
