A little bit about me
A little bit about me:
- I am a junior in high school and I study Arts and Business
- I have two siblings of my own who I also helped took care of ever since they were a small baby
- I have two years of tutoring experience and more than 5 years of babysitting experience
- I LOVE outdoors. I love exploring new place and meeting new people
- I LOVE being around kids. ( My parent were only planning on having me but I BEGGED for two siblings)
- I Love pets and animals
My schedule is flexible. Since it’s Summertime, I have time from Monday to Sunday at 9am to 6pm. Since covid is still around, I will be still wearing masks and disinfect every surface before the child sits on it. I will also help with some light housework

A little bit about me
I have over three years of experience as a gymnastics instructor, working with children ages 3–12, helping them build confidence, coordination, and a love for the sport. During the school year, I work at the University Child Development Center where I care for children ranging from 6 weeks to 5 years old. This has given me hands-on experience with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, and has taught me a lot about child development and nurturing care.
I am responsible, punctual, attentive and genuinely love creating engaging environments for kids to grow. I am also happy to help with light household tasks, meal prep, and even pet care.
I would love the opportunity to work with your family this summer!

How to Hire a Summer Nanny in Brooklyn, NY
Nanny Lane helps you find a summer nanny in Brooklyn, NY to take care of your children while school is out.
We offer nanny services including background checks, Agency, and nanny payroll. Start by posting a profile with a job description, and soon you can start connecting with nannies who fit your family.
What Is a Summer Nanny?
A summer nanny is a nanny who works during the school break, for the full summer or for part of it. Summer nannies are often teachers, college students, or experienced nannies who prefer seasonal work, so families can find help when school-age children are home during the day.
Common Responsibilities of Summer Nannies in Brooklyn, NY
Summer days are less structured than the school year. A summer nanny plans activities such as park visits, swimming, crafts, and day trips, prepares meals and snacks, and may take children to camps or classes. For younger children, they keep up the usual nap and mealtime routines.
What to Consider Before You Hire
Start your search early, since good summer nannies are booked quickly. Decide your start and end dates, your weekly hours, and whether you need flexibility around camps, vacations, or travel. Be clear about transportation, and about whether you need the nanny to drive. If your dates might change, say so up front.
Summer Nanny Interview Questions
Once you find a promising candidate, invite them for an interview to see if they would be a great fit for your family. Here are some questions you can ask:
- Which dates are you available this summer?
- Are you able to adjust if our dates or hours change?
- What activities would you plan for the children during the day?
- Are you comfortable driving, including to camps and activities?
- Do you have experience with children of our children's ages?
At this stage, request their references and ask their references some questions. After preparing the job offer or contract, we recommend that you run a background check before the start date.
