So I was actually a teaching assistant for daycare program called Early Life this past year, sadly my center was shut down due to the building rent being raised. I worked there for about 8 months . I’ve also been a nanny to an amazing couple they have a boy and girl I’ve been with them for about 3 years now

My experience with special needs children...
When I worked at the daycare I was assigned with the two year old room and we had 3 kids who had autism each different as kids are . So one kids was completely nonverbal and he was the toughest but also the sweetest. When I first got the job everyone made it clear who he was I had three different staff members warn me. He was definitely a handful trying to get him to stay in the classroom, getting him to play with kids or even just interact with them. Again I was there for 8 months so I definitely did get to se him progress in the beginning he would run out the classroom we got him him to stop as well as sharing which he only did with the teachers but progress nonetheless.
