A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Angel! I have always loved caring for children and I’ve finally decided to pursue it full-time. I am the youngest of 10 and have 24 nieces and nephews. My oldest niece is 15 and my youngest niece is 9 months old and naturally have been the built in family sitter since I was 13. I was a Sunday School teacher for 4 years, teaching large groups (~20 children) of 3-6 year olds for about 2 hours every weekend. I have also volunteered at many youth events as a leader. I have cashiering experience and spent time working in kitchens. I volunteered for Young Life for two years, a youth ministry program with a focus on building safe communities for students. I spent the summer of 2019 lifeguarding. I have a passion for reading, music, film, and sports. I also learned how to ski when I was three and absolutely love it. I attended Rutgers University, but have decided to take a break. I have always felt called to work with children and I hope you give me a chance!
