Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked with children living with autism for a year at an art therapy centre in South Africa. Then moved to the Netherlands for another year to be an au pair. Afterwards I took some early childhood development courses and worked in a Montessori daycare in Virginia for one summer. Then I worked privately with three wonderful families. I do also have one on one experience with special needs children, the more severe case being with a blind autistic boy who was lovely to work with.
