The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel cared for and understood. It’s about building trust with both the child and their family, being dependable, and helping to guide and nurture the child’s growth—emotionally, mentally, and even spiritually. It’s more than just a job; it’s about being a positive and consistent presence in their lives.

My experience with special needs children...

While I don’t have direct experience working one-on-one with children with special needs, I’ve had the opportunity to interact with them through my volunteer work at children’s homes and community events. These experiences have given me some insight and have inspired a strong sense of patience and compassion. I’m very open and willing to learn more so I can provide the best care possible.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments is teaching kids about my Jamaican culture. I love seeing their excitement when they try to mimic my accent—it’s always so cute and funny! I also enjoy sharing our music with them; it’s such a fun way to connect, and they always end up dancing and singing along. Those moments mean a lot to me.
