I currently work as a teacher's assistant at a Nature Academy day care where I work with newborns to 4 year olds on a daily basis.
I have 5 siblings, 3 younger than me, and often helped my mother with her in home day care growing up so I have been around children my whole life.
I started volunteering at my local recreational department's summer program when I was 13, where I would work with 4-6 year olds, 4 days a week. I did that until I was 16, when I spent the summer volunteering at a summer camp where I cared for, and taught swimming lessons to 6-14 year olds. I then went back to the recreational summer program as a paid teachers assistant. There I taught classes of 20-30 students from age 4-14.
I am currently in school, finishing my degree in elementary education, and Spanish teaching.

Swimming, going on walks (especially with dogs), playing at parks or beaches. Baking treats or cooking healthy snacks, reading, playing pretend.
