A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Belle, and I’m from South San Jose.
I’ve had a passion for working with children from a young age. In high school, I volunteered in a program for student parents, caring for children ages 1–4. I also babysat and nannied during summers, gaining around six years of experience overall.

I’ve worked with kids from 6 months to 8 years old and have cared for up to five children at once. Most recently, I worked at a preschool, mainly with ages 2–5, and also supported the infant room (4 months to 1 year) as a floater teacher.

I’m looking to return to part-time childcare and am available Monday–Thursday. I love creating a safe, nurturing space where kids can grow and have fun. I also enjoy doing arts and crafts, reading, music, and watching fun shows with them.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve gained valuable experience caring for children in both professional and volunteer settings. Most recently, I worked at a preschool with children ages 2–5 in a combined classroom. I served as a teacher, assistant, and floater, helping with supervision during outdoor play, indoor crafts, snack time, and diaper changes. I also occasionally helped in the infant room when extra support was needed.

Earlier, I volunteered in high school through a program that supported student parents. I helped care for their children during school hours and assisted with many of the same tasks, supervising play, helping with basic care, and being an extra set of hands.

These experiences have given me a strong foundation in childcare and a real appreciation for working with kids and supporting the families around them.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some indoor activities I enjoy with children are arts/crafts, board games, having movie days, reading, and baking. Some outdoor activities I enjoy are taking children to nearby park, going out for walks, and bike rides.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is building a strong, trusting relationship with the children I care for. I want them to feel safe, valued, and comfortable with me, not just as their caregiver, but as someone they genuinely trust.

That connection, however, goes beyond just the kids. I believe it’s just as important to have open and respectful communication with the parents or guardians. When there’s a solid bond and understanding between everyone involved, it creates a supportive environment where the child’s well-being always comes first.

At the end of the day, it’s all about working together as a team, parents, caregivers, and children, to make sure everyone is on the same page and the child is truly thriving.
