I have cared for children from 3 months old all the way to 12 years old between being a full time nanny and working in child care centers. I have volunteered at children’s hospitals and also worked with Girl Scouts of western Oklahoma as a program coordinator.

I believe that being kind and nurturing is the most important part. No matter what age the child I am working with is, I am helping and teaching them how to regulate emotions, learn new things and grow as a human. Creating a safe and warm environment to do that in is the most important and rewarding part of being a nanny and working in child care.

Kids say and do the funniest things and it always makes my day brighter. One of my favorite moments as a nanny was when the children showed me their Halloween costumes and we made silly videos with special effects that went along with their costumes. It was a blast!
