More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have years of child care experience under my belt.

While pursuing my undergraduate degree in Miami I was not an active nanny. But, during winter and summer breaks I worked for several families in Upstate New York. Most notably during the summer of 2021 I worked full time for a family of four children.

Beyond immediate babysitting experience I worked at the Little Gym, as a children's gymnastics instructor from [phone number hidden]. I have the stamina and energy to keep your little ones active!

I also have unpaid super visionary experience with kids. I volunteered at Camp Healthy Hope, a camp for type 1 diabetics from [phone number hidden]. The very same summer I worked at "STAR" a publicly funded summer school program to help kids with reading.

I am passionate about keeping kids creative and off their devices. At UM I founded a non-profit "Art for Kids" which raised money to provide children with art supplies.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

My favorite activities to do with children are outside! I genuinely believe that the more time an individual spends outside the happier and healthier they will be (this is why i’ve loved living in Florida over the past four years!). I’m able to swim confidently and am physically fit, with enough stamina to keep up with any kid (thanks to my Little Gym experience!) I can easily adapt to inside play aswell though for rainy days... not to brag but i’m a pro at make-believe, with my acting experience! I’d also like to think i’m pretty artistic and love coming up with new arts and crafts ideas.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe that having a genuine connection with the kids is one of the most important parts of being a nanny, you need to establish trust and respect with them while also maintaining that you’re the one in charge!

My experience with special needs children...

The very first first family I worked with from Nanny Lane had 3 kids with special needs. I am equipped with the skills, patience and compassion necessary to work with children of all backgrounds. I also conducted gymnastics classes for children of different abilities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment connecting with kids had to of been when I had a family move a few years ago. It was absolutely heart breaking but I saw the children before they left and seeing how they struggled to say goodbye to me, let me know that I truly made an impact on these kids lives.

Full-Time Nanny Available in Seattle, WA: Taylor G.

Hi, I’m Tay! I’m currently finishing my bachelor’s degree in Political Science at The Ohio State University. I’m a hardworking and dependable person who takes pride in being responsible and attentive, especially when it comes to caring for others. As a member of OSU’s powerlifting team, I’ve developed strong discipline and patience; qualities I bring into childcare as well.

I’m a proud pet mom to two adorable cats, so I’m very comfortable around animals and understand the importance of nurturing and care. In my free time, I love reading and taking walks in the park, and I enjoy finding fun, calm, and engaging activities for kids. I’m excited to create a safe, positive, and supportive environment for your children and look forward to meeting you!

Sage S. - Seeking Work in Seattle

Part-Time Nanny Available in Seattle, WA: Sage S.

Hello! I am a former preschool teacher and nanny who is now pursuing an education in mental health counseling. I am looking for a part time nanny position with infants or toddlers.
I worked for two years at the University Child Development Center, in The Studio, a Reggio-inspired preschool for infants and toddlers, where I cared for kids ages 0 months-4 years. I worked as a nanny for four years with ages from 3 months to 9 years, and most often with multiple children at a time.
I am a big believer that play is a tool for learning, that children are highly capable little scientists testing the world around them to learn more. I prioritize teaching social-emotional and communication skills through modeling and problem solving. By recognizing their capabilities, supporting them in developing self-advocacy skills, and giving them space to test and learn in a safe and supporting environment, I believe that we can set young children up for success later in life.
Hope to hear from you,
Sage

Hi! My name is Arden and I am 23 years old. I have been doing various types and levels of babysitting since I was was first old enough to be deemed responsible! I also have a little sister who is currently 3 years old and I have been lucky enough to take a serious role in her care since she was born. This may be cliche but nothing is more likely to bring me joy than spending time with children. Not only do I absolutely adore them but I also find the stage of life they are in, where everything is new and exciting and they learn so much about the world around them, incredible and always feel lucky to be a part of it in any way. Since I work part time I am open to somewhat short (I'm flexible!) or on an as needed basis jobs or jobs recurring a couple days a week. Im flexible with scheduling!

Hello! I have over 10 years of experience in childcare. I moved to Seattle in 2022 and have been working as a nanny/household manager with a family of 5 since my arrival.

I will be in graduate school full-time beginning in September. I am hoping to find families looking for an occasional babysitter or regular care in evenings or on weekends.

Mariye G. - Seeking Work in Seattle

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Seattle, WA: Mariye G.

With my free time I enjoy being active and working out. After finishing classes and homework I spend most weeknights at the gym working on cardio and weight lifting. Additionally I enjoy spending time outdoors in the forest on hikes, on picnics, or just walking. When I am not focusing on my studies, which is admittedly rare, I like to visit live music such as concerts and shows or go out to eat and try new restaurants.
