The most important part about being a nanny...
Not a nanny moment but I was at work a few weeks ago and one of my students came in really upset that she wasn’t gonna be able to spend “snowies” half birthday with her. I proceeded to tell her that everything would be ok that we would make cards for her and she had all afternoon after school to spend with her. After about 20 mins of back and forth trying to calm her down I stopped and ask who “snowie” was and her response was my stuffed bear. I couldn’t help but laugh because I just knew we were discussing maybe an aunt or something.
