A little bit about me

Hello I'm Déja!

I have worked at few different Child Development Centers all NAEYC accredited over the years . I worked at Child Development Center for 5 years 3 1/2 as a permanent assistant teacher. Then I became a Lead teacher of the toddler program as well as the infant program. I received my AA in Early Childhood Education June of 2023. I will be going back to school Fall of 2024 to continue my schooling in order to receive my bachelors in Early Childhood Education. I nannied for a family from May of 2019 until February 2023. In February I started working as an infant lead teacher for Kindercare Companies.
I'm excited to get back into nannying and work with a new family, creating awesome memories and wonderful relationships.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I've had the pleasure of working with children for about 10 years now, from newborns to school-age kids. I've been an infant lead teacher, a toddler lead teacher, and a lead teacher for two-year-olds. I've also worked with pre-K and summer camp programs. Right now, I'm the assistant director at an early childhood development center in DC.

I enjoy engaging in art projects and activities with children to assist them in their development and achievement of milestones.

I haven’t had much experience. But I have worked with children diagnosed with Autism and ADHD..

The most important part about being a nanny...

Gosh, I have so many! I think my favorite was singing “Let It Go” from the movie Frozen with one of my children. She dressed me up as Elsa and we performed the song together.
