Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I cared for 3 year old little boy with autism and his 7 year old sister for over a year, taking care of their every need and also doing light housework, for over a year. It only ended due to their mother losing her job because of COVID . I also cared for an 8 year old little girl with Down syndrome for a few years for a few weeks at a time ( it was never a constant) doing in home care(from my home) and taking care of her every need as well

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is making sure you develop a propped bond with the child your caring for. If you guys can’t click and bond properly it won’t be easy ( or possible) to properly care for that child. Making sure they trust you to care for them is so important. If they don’t feel comfortable around you they aren’t going to let you take care of them and that’s just a mess for everyone you have to take the child’s feelings about everything into consideration before you do anything

One of my favorite moments was when I first started watching Lilly and Jackson , we were inside painting and Jackson was still learning how to hold a brush. He accidentally flung some paint around the room getting it all over me and Lilly. Lilly and I kind just looked at each other and started laughing because we had it all over our faces and it was just a simple pure moment that I really loved
